About the project

Anantapur-II REZ Phase-I Project
The Anantapur-II Renewable Energy Zone (REZ) Phase-I is a strategic infrastructure development that includes:
- A state-of-the-art pooling station at Ananthapuram-II near Kurnool, Andhra Pradesh, featuring 765/400 kV and 400/220 kV transformers.
- High-capacity transmission corridors with 765 kV double circuit lines connecting Ananthapuram-II to Davangere (Karnataka) and Cuddapah (Andhra Pradesh).
- Advanced +300 MVAr STATCOM systems for reactive power support and grid stability.
At Resonia Limited, we are driving India’s clean energy revolution with the landmark Anantapur-II REZ Phase-I project. Designed to unlock and evacuate 4,500 MW of renewable power from Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka, this project connects large-scale renewable energy zones to the national grid, contributing directly to India’s 500 GW clean energy target by 2030.
Clean Energy Evacuation
Delivering large-scale renewable power across Southern India.
High-Capacity Corridor
For a robust inter-state link with power flow flexibility, reduced congestion, and improved reliability of energy supply.
States
Connecting & Strengthening inter-state power flow across Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka.

Regional Impact
This project plays a vital role in supporting Andhra Pradesh’s and Karnataka’s clean energy policies, green hydrogen ambitions, and industrial growth. By facilitating the evacuation of renewable power and reinforcing inter-state grid connections, it ensures reliable energy supply for emerging industrial and green hydrogen hubs.
In doing so, the Anantapur-II REZ Phase-I project is set to unlock significant economic opportunities, create jobs, and accelerate India’s transition to net zero carbon emissions by 2047. Resonia Limited’s commitment to sustainability and innovation is paving the way for a greener, more resilient future for Southern India.
